Well hello world
All is well in Paraguay. The big news of the week is that I actually watched somebody get hit by a car while riding a moto. We think she died but aren´t really that sure. She wasn´t wearing a helmet of course, so you kids wear your dang helmets. Other than that nothing too exciting happened.
It continues to get colder, but then some days it´s really hot which is always annoying. It hasn´t rained for a good while, so we watered our banana plants this morning. We also played some soccer against some Paraguayans and they whooped us. They are all too good here. Also, my comp and I had a nice conversation with a member family here in Posta Leiva. He was talking about certain foreign foods here that they haven´t heard about, but it just so happens that this food is also a very inappropriate word to say in GuaranĂ. Apparently he didn´t know, and I was trying to keep a straight face, and the family was very confused and it was just too good. It´s hard sometimes to operate in 3 languages. There are a lot of words that carry over and mean really different things. Yay Paraguay!
We had lots of people that were supposed to come to church, but they ended up doing other lame things, which is always a disappointment, but we´ll keep working to show them that what we say is actually kind of a big deal. I think it´ll work nicely, but we´ll see what happens. Our new house is working nicely. It´s kind of cramped and whatnot, but other than that it´s pretty good. There is warmish water which is a plus in winter! But, other than that I think that´s all I´ve got. Woo Paraguay! Stay happy everyone back home. I love you all, and you´re always prayed for :D
