Well hello everyone!
Today wasn´t as intense as last week, but I´m sure that that´s probably better for some of you to hear. The week was full of working and sweating and all sorts of good things like that. We had district conference in Caacupe this Sunday which went well. There was a lot of people that couldn´t sing. Bless their hearts! We found a lady by miracle this week. We decided to eat at a different restaurant type thing this week for the first time in my stay here in Eusebio. So we go there and there is only one table open. On our way over to it, a lady totally beat us there and sat down. I decided to ask her what was for lunch so we could see if we wanted to wait for a table, and then she invited us to sit down and eat with her. We started talking and set up an appointment for the next day and all that. When we went, it was actually a pretty weird lesson and I wasn´t feeling too good about it all because she´d just talk about how much better the Catholic church is and things like that. We testified to her that we were sent by God to help her change her life, and she started to cry. As it turns out, she prayed a couple days before to get help in her life. Less than 12 hours later was when we all met up "by coincedence" in the restaurant. I told her that we were answers to her prayer and she can change her life with what we can show and teach her. Then she said she never thought that her answer would come by two mormons. She still had some doubts afterwards, but we left her a Book of Mormon with the commitment to read and pray, so we´ll see if she has the drive and faith to get her answer. It was a pretty intense lesson, and at least it helps me know that God is watching out for us and helping us help His children here in Paraguay. I hope she reads.
Also, today we went to a hill called Cristo Rey, which was pretty fun. It was kind of like a little hike and we all had fun. I took some pretty good photos, so we´ll see if I can send em. There were some good views of the city of Caacupe.
Elder Milne is still alive and doing well. He can already speak way better even though he doesn´t think so, but it´s amazing to see. I´m so proud of my son :D We´re also working to have 2 baptisms this Saturday so that´ll be good. Ricardo and Norma are going to get baptized and it´ll be sweet.
Other than that, it´s been a normal, good week here. It´s hot and only gets hotter now, but we´ll keep working in the heat. I love you all, and I hope you have a good week!
Love,
Elder Morris
