Happy Halloween everyone!
They don´t actually do anything for Halloween, so it´s just business as normal. A couple of kids actually told us that it was Halloween like 2 days ago. Poor confused children. I hope everyone up there is doing something nice and exciting for Halloween!
Down here is just the same ole same ole. Nothing too exciting happened this week either. It´s started getting hot and icky which is never fun, but I´ve inherited the headache pills from a missionary that just went home so I´m prepared for the summer. Yeah! Elder Milne hit one month in Paraguay sometime this week which is just too exciting. Now I feel like an obsessed parent or something because I´m living through the accomplishments of my child. Dang it. Anywho, he´s still doing well and not dead. He feels kind of sick right now though, but that´s to be understood because his body gets to adjust to the magical world of Paraguay. Yeah!
I don´t know if I ever said that our recent convert Ricardo was about to move for a month to some faraway land, but now he´s not going so all is well! He´s now helping us a ton with the work here in Eusebio Ayala. I bought him a Preach my Gospel when we went to the temple the other week, and it´s turning him into a missionary beast. It´s awesome. He even asked one of his friends if he believes that Joseph Smith was a prophet. What a boss. So yeah. He´s reading a lot and doing visits with us, and one of his friends came to church this week with her brother so that´s pretty exciting.
It decided to rain this week after a long time, which is always an adventure. It started to rain when we were walking around so I wanted to find shelter and wait out the rain, but good ole Elder Milne wanted to just keep on walking so we did like bosses. He thought it was fun for the first 5 minutes, but then the wind picked up and it got really really cold. I now realize as I´m typing this that the rain may have gotten him sick. I´m a crappy parent! Dang it. Anywho, now we know that rain isn´t very fun.
In investigator news, for right now we don´t have anyone super close for baptism, but we´ve found some of Ricardo´s friends that are looking good. He has some friend also named Ricardo that saw how much Baptized Ricardo has changed and he wants to change too, so we´re excited to start working with him some more. I hope it goes well!
Other than that, all is well in Eusebio Ayala. We´re working hard, and learning lots of stuff. :D Yeah! I love you all, and I hope you have a great week!
Love,
Elder Morris
